Pathfinder’s existing business clients are businesses that are in operation for more than three years and have established a product or service with a user base within a particular geography. Typically they will have a turnover of over 3 million dollars. We bring these high potential businesses from local to global markets through our programme.

Your Journey to new markets will have your team work through three phases:

selection phase

During selection we work with state and semi state bodies as well as direct applications. Our pathfinder team will meet every company on their own site and work with their team to assess suitability for all.

Using the SmartInvest Due Diligence assessment toolset the top-ranked applicants will be selected to participate in the Induction Phase workshops

Selection criteria includes:

  • Value proposition;
  • Product market fit;
  • Mindset of the founder;
  • Likelihood of success in the global market

induction phase

3-day training/mentoring session held in ‘home country’, with up to 24 startups.

Workshops are delivered by three facilitators / industry experts from Ireland Israel and the East of the US.

Agenda consists of morning workshops and one-to-one mentoring in the afternoons.

Final day includes a pitch competition, where highest-ranking startups move on to the ‘Start Smart’ phase.

mentoring phase

The 6-week phase focuses on founders teams receiving ‘market validation’ in their chosen market / region (Ireland East Coast US and or Israel), and is conducted partly in the home country and the remaining four weeks take place in the target region / country.

Founders or team leads are assigned 1-2 mentors who provide refinement of product-market fit, business model, pitch, prospect strategy and arrangement of 8-10 meetings with prospects.

Pathfinders learn from customers about what needs to change in their product strategy and business model in order to succeed in the U.S.
